Project Overview
We produced a commercial video for the Arc’teryx Palo Alto store to promote a new line of shoes, building the visual concept around movement, outdoor terrain, and performance-focused storytelling. The shoot combined cinematic ground production, our custom Javelin dual-operator system, and FPV drone footage to create a more immersive and dynamic brand piece.
Client Goals
The goal was to create launch content that felt elevated, energetic, and aligned with the Arc’teryx brand. The video needed to highlight the shoes in a natural outdoor environment while reinforcing performance, motion, and product identity. It also needed to feel visually distinctive enough to stand out across digital and retail marketing channels.
Production Approach
To capture the right mix of cinematic movement and terrain-based storytelling, we used a range of tools including our Javelin setup—a gimbal-on-a-stick dual-operator system designed for smooth, controlled motion—and FPV drones for immersive outdoor coverage. Reaching the location required hiking roughly two miles with production gear, which added a logistical challenge to the shoot and required careful planning around loadout, mobility, and efficiency.
